Gibson’s neck-through-body design is on full display with these Sunburst models, as the 7-piece laminate center is visible the whole way through. As a bonus, this example has beautiful mahogany figuring! This particular guitar was well cared for throughout its life, and even the metal pickup rings and mini-humbuckers still have their original luster. The guitar’s finish features checking throughout, adding great vintage character. The neck feels comfortable in the hand, and these factory large frets make playing and particularly bends a real treat. The pickups are nicely balanced for a full tone in each switch position, and they can scream with some distortion in the mix!
