Up for sale is my 2014 Gibson Custom Shop ’63 ES-335 Reissue in Tobacco Sunburst. This is a fantastic-sounding and great-playing example of Gibson’s historic ’63-style 335. I purchased this guitar from Japan and the Gibson paperwork is in Japanese. Features the legendary MHS humbuckers and weighs a shocking 7.72lbs!!
The guitar has been played and has various small dings, dents, and cosmetic marks throughout the body and finish from normal use. These are cosmetic only—the guitar is structurally sound and plays and functions as it should. The VOS treatment looks awesome. There’s virtually no fret wear at all. I’ve tried to photograph the wear as clearly as possible so the condition can be accurately represented. 1st fret neck depth 20.5mm and 12th fret 25mm. Very shallow indentation on the back of the neck that can barely be felt.
