Custom Artwork Super Str@

Super-Str@ (Devil Horns Mudra)

• Basswood Body with Original, Custom Artwork burned onto the surface face. Image of: a free floating hand making the "devil horns sign" (popularized by Dio in the 80s) wreathed in flames.

• Original, hand drawn artwork – by Steve Klamm – applied to the body using a technique called "pyrography" (Lit. fire writing/drawing). Each mark is burned into the surface using intensely heated tools. This particular image is so drawn so deeply, as to create a more tactile, engraved effect. A truly individualized instrument waiting to inspire the player who weilds it!

• Single, "Eruption" (by BYOGuitars) wax potted, alnico5 humbucker pickup (referencing the Dimarzio Super Distortion popularized by EVHalen, but with a higher resistance rating). Accompanied with a single volume control. Rated at 15.4 kOhms of resistance (see attending pics). This "high output pickup has a warm, crisp and articulate timbre free from microphonic noise.

• Double locking, full floating, Licensed Floyd Rose tremolo. Trem has been blocked (removable) to prevent backward movement, and tuning stability, yet allow forward depression.

• Transparent, Nordic White stain, with a natural finish.

• All chrome hardware.

• 22 medium jumbo frets, on a 12" radius maple fretboard. Black dot inlays.

• Bolt on maple neck, with a "hockey stick" style headstock. Scarf-jointed for additional strength and reinforcement at the nut. Adjustable trussrod nut at the headstock. Chrome tuners 14:1 ratio. Scale length 25.5". Unfinished, slim C neck profile.

• The natural finish reveals the smooth, dense grain of the wood, giving a more immediate sensation to the instrument and lively response to technical nuance.

• Ships in a hardshell case, with: whammy bar, extra tremolo springs, and necessary Allen keys (see pics).

• Guitar weight: approx. 7.4lbs.
