ESP LTD SCT-607B Stephen Carpenter Signature 7-String Electric Guitar - Gloss Black | No Limit Guitar Co, Idaho Falls

Stephen Carpenter's down-tuned dissonance and polyrhythmic power chords have been the driving force behind Deftones' alt-metal anthems since the band's inception, and the ESP LTD SCT-607B is his signature 7-string baritone solidbody built to deliver deep-toned discord and gut-punching chugs with equal assurance. While it features a classic T-shaped body, this guitar is anything but traditional, boasting an extended 7-string range, a 27" baritone scale, and neck-through-body construction. This guitar is built for down-tuned metal players who want intricate riffage, atmospheric exploration, and heavy-hitting breakdowns from a single instrument.

Product Overview

Technical players will appreciate the sleek playability of this guitar's 3-piece, Thin U-shaped maple neck, topped with a 24-fret, flat-radius Macassar ebony fingerboard that stays comfortable across the guitar's extended baritone scale. Stephen Carpenter's multi-voice signature Fishman Fluence pickups sit in the middle and bridge positions, offering a versatile range of tones from searing, active-inspired growls to organic, passive-inspired crunch and cutting, overwound single-coil textures, all accessible through a push-pull volume control, a tone knob, and a 3-way blade switch. Premium LTD locking tuners paired with a Tonepros locking Tune-o-matic bridge with string-thru construction ensure rock-solid tuning stability, even under the most aggressive down-tuned playing.
