Epiphone's Inspired by Gibson Firebird™ rocks a reverse body and headstock design as originally introduced in 1963 and was Gibson's first neck-through-body design. The traditional 9-ply mahogany/walnut neck-through-body provides rich, warm tonality and incredible sustain. A SlimTaper™ neck with a bound, Indian laurel fingerboard and acrylic trapezoid fingerboard inlays offers fast and effortless playability. The newly refreshed Firebird is outfitted with a set of ProBucker™ FB720 pickups to recapture the scorching output and searing tones of the original voice for which the Firebird is known, and Grover® 18:1 ratio mini tuners. 

• Body & Neck Construction: Traditional 9-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through-body with mahogany body wings for rich sustain.

• Neck Profile: SlimTaper™ C-profile with an Indian laurel fingerboard and trapezoid inlays.

• Pickups & Electronics: Dual Epiphone ProBucker™ FB720 mini humbuckers wired with CTS electronics for authentic vintage tone.

• Hardware: Grover® 18:1 ratio mini tuners, LockTone™ Tune-o-matic bridge, and a stopbar tailpiece.

The original white pickguard has been swapped out with a black one with a gold bird. The Original white one with red bird will be included as well. 

This guitar will also ship with a Gator Icon ES-335 case. There aren't a lot of cases that fit the firebird because of how long it is but this case is a perfect fit and the owner is selling it with the case. (a $269 value)

This guitar is in absolutely mint condition and might as well be new.
