Fender USA American Vintage Reissue ’57 Stratocaster Candy Apple Red 1989
This 1989 Fender American Vintage Reissue ’57 Stratocaster was made at Fender’s Corona, California factory.
Based on the 1957 Stratocaster, this early American Vintage model features a beautifully aged one-piece maple neck and a rich Candy Apple Red finish.
Approximately 37 years old, this guitar retains its original pickups, pots, wiring, and 3-way pickup selector. The frets are also original and have never been replaced.
As shown in the photos, the pickguard was removed to inspect the electronics. The three original single-coil pickups, CTS pots, vintage-style wiring, and original 3-way selector remain in place.
The body and neck show natural wear, light scratches, and localized marks consistent with age. Overall, the guitar is well preserved for a 1989 instrument, with the maple neck displaying a deep, naturally aged appearance. The neck is in good condition, and all electronics function properly.
An appealing example of an early Corona-era American Vintage Stratocaster, retaining its original electronics and frets alongside decades of natural aging.
The original tremolo arm and a hardshell case are included.
