The Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound brings big, aggressive tone to the 5-string Jazz Bass. Featuring massive 1/4" Alnico 5 rod magnets and high-output coil winds, these pickups deliver powerful lows, punchy mids, strong attack, and excellent articulation. They're an excellent choice for bassists who love the character of traditional Jazz Bass single coils but want more output and authority.

The neck pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity (RWRP), allowing the pair to cancel hum when both pickups are used together. You get the response and definition of true single-coil pickups with quieter operation when both are blended.

Hand-built in Santa Barbara, California, these pickups feature Forbon flatwork, wax-potted coils, and black covers.
