Hey!
I'm selling my 1998 Zildjian 14" A New Beat Hi-Hats so I can buy a new bass guitar. Yay!
I was given these hi-hats in this condition, in 2013, in Maine by a former co-worker. Supposedly these hi-hats survived Hurricane Sandy when it rolled through the Mid Atlantic area and submerged many an automobile. The blemishes haven't done any damage that I can tell and have never gotten worse. I've played them on and off since then but never more than a few times a year in a practice space by myself and they sound great still. They've been stored in my cymbal bag in different apartment closets since 2013. Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for checking out the cymbals!
Zildjian website official description: "The Zildjian New Beat Hats are considered the most versatile HiHat cymbals in the world today. The original design was brought to us by the late, great drummer, Louie Bellson who sought a pair of HiHats with a solid beat and a perfect all-purpose combination of stick and "chick" sound. It is symmetrically machine hammered and lathed with a traditional wide groove. The result is an exuberant cymbal that bursts with a classic voice that is pure, bright, and expressive."
