HUGHES & KETTNER BLACK SPIRIT 200 Guitar Amp Head & 1x12 Speaker Cab

The Black Spirit 200 is one of the best non-tube guitar amps I’ve played. Some listing call it solid state, some claim it’s digital. In reality, it’s some proprietary technology that H&K developed that provide one of the better experiences you’ll have playing an amp without tubes.
The head has 4 channels or sounds (Clean, Crunch, Lead & Ultra) and a slew of built-in digital effects including chorus, flanger, delay and reverb. With its full MIDI I/O, you can save a huge amount of presets to the amp and effectively have a whole guitar rig in the small package.
The built-in RedBox DI is a great option for going direct to DAW or front of house and you can use the amp without needing to plug it into a speaker cab.

Speaking of speaker cabs, I’m selling this Hughes & Kettner TS112 cab alongside the head. It has a Celestion Creamback speaker in it. Great sounding cab and speaker, with a port in the front for better low end response.

I may consider separating the two but would prefer to sell the package.

I used to use this amp quite often between 2021-2023.

It was my main amp for playing at church for several months before becoming exclusively a studio amp where it was used as my main pedal platform amp for pedal demos.

The amp recently returned from being serviced by Yorkville Sound (former US distributor of H&K in the USA) to repair a common issue these amps had with the power supply. It has been tested extensively and everything works great!

Included as well will be an IEC cable for power and the Hughes & Kettner gigbag for the head.

While I still think this is a great amp and would love to hang onto it, I’m financing a major studio upgrade at the moment. More listings will come!
