Had the Chrome over Wood factory wrap. 100% Wooden shell.

• I am the original and only owner since new and a long time ago I started to remove the factory chrome wrap which came off very easily. What's left is a very thin foil layer. It is like a super thin aluminum foil. It is NOT the typical thick plastic with lots of glue. It is a very thin layer of metal foil with no or very little glue. Likely to come off very quickly with a blow dryer or heat gun.
• The shell underneath INSIDE and OUTSIDE is very nice. Nice enough to do a clear, colored or stained lacquer finish or oil rub. Or you can re-wrap it also
