This is my 2004-2005 Highway one strat. It’s been a workhorse ever since I bought it. I rarely gigged with it but had plenty of bedroom hours put in. This is a very rare color. I have only seen this pop up once for sale. The post says it’s walnut but I believe the official color was called mocha. as you can see from the photos there are plenty of dings and scratches. This was produced during the “thin skin” phase of guitars With a thin nitro finish.
There is a spot where the skunk strip on the back of the neck rounds where there is finish crack that has shown up over the last few years. as well as another finish crack further up the neck that I tried to capture on the photos. However, neither of these affect the playability.
There is plenty of fretlife left. To the best of my recollection the single coil pickups are the original. I have swapped out numerous pickups throughout the years and I tried to stay organized with the original parts. The bridge is not original but it is fender atomic humbucker that was produced during a similar time. My understanding is there were variations during the highway one’s production on the atomic humbuckers.
Please feel free to ask questions and if you need more pictures, I would be happy to take more. Ships in a fender Hardshell case.
Only shipping domestically in the US.
