Excellent condition Line 6 James Tyler Variax JTV-59 in Tobacco Sunburst finish.

This is the original James Tyler-designed Variax model, featuring premium construction, high-quality magnetic pickups and the renowned Variax modeling technology. It allows instant access to a wide range of electric, acoustic and alternative-tuned instruments from a single guitar.

I am the original owner, and the instrument has seen very little use throughout its life. It has recently been professionally checked and set up.

The original battery is included, holds charge very well, and has undergone very few charging cycles.

Condition

• Fully functional.
• Electronics, modeling system and magnetic pickups work perfectly.
• Overall excellent cosmetic condition.
• Only minimal fret wear on the first frets from normal playing.
• Never gigged.
• Kept at home in a smoke-free environment and carefully maintained throughout its life.

Features

• James Tyler-designed JTV-59 body and neck.
• Beautiful Tobacco Sunburst finish.
• Variax HD guitar modeling system.
• Instant alternate tunings without changing string tension.
• Great-sounding magnetic humbuckers for traditional operation.
• Made in Indonesia.

Included

• Original Line 6 padded gig bag.
• All original accessories that came with the instrument, including the original battery with very few charging cycles.
• Line 6 XPS DI Box for powering the guitar without using the battery.
• Compatible power supply for the XPS unit (not the original one, but fully functional). The power supply cable has been repaired and works correctly. However, for regular professional use I would recommend purchasing an original Line 6 power supply.

Why I'm Selling

Unfortunately, health issues no longer allow me to play comfortably, so I am selling most of my gear and keeping only my acoustic guitar.

This model is becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in such well-preserved condition, from its original owner, and with all the original accessories included.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like additional photographs.

Shipping

Please note that, once a sale is agreed, I may need up to one week to source suitable packaging materials and prepare the guitar for safe shipping. Contact me before purchasing if you are located in a remote area or on an island, so I can confirm the shipping cost.
