This is as close to new as you get... I bought this some time ago to play out and I then aquired a stomach hernia, and I could no longer easily transport, so there went my playing out plans... this is perfect in every respect with basically no use, maybe a few hours, and it also comes with the tone match audio engine which was also purchased new with the unit and is in the same unused condition. I just purchased the new L1 because it is much lighter and have compared the two side by side... and I personally find the older one sounds better, even though they tout it as being the same... the old one sounds fuller and more dynamic, really just quite better all around... any questions contact me.
