Spector Icon NS-5 2 Bolt-On Black Cherry Gloss

Spector Icon NS-5 Bolt-On 5-String Bass Guitar

Carrying on nearly a half-century of legendary low-end innovation, the Spector Icon NS-5 Bolt-On brings elite Woodstock, NY design specifications into a high-performance 5-string platform. Engineered specifically for the modern working bassist who requires a tight, articulate low B string, this professional-grade instrument delivers exceptional ergonomic balance, premium woods, and tour-ready reliability.

Key Features & Technical Innovations:

• Fully Curved Ergonomic Body Shape: Crafted with a highly resonant alder body, the Icon NS-5 features Spector's iconic fully curved silhouette. This signature design hugs close to the player's torso, providing unparalleled physical comfort during long studio sessions or high-energy stage tracking.
• Stunning Premium Finishes: Available in sleek solid gloss colors (Black or White) or with an attention-commanding Quilted Maple top (Black Cherry or Black Stain models) that adds an extra touch of upper-midrange brilliance.
• Extended 35-Inch Scale Length: To ensure absolute note definition, the NS-5 features an extended 35" scale length. This extra length optimizes string tension across the entire fretboard, keeping your low B string incredibly punchy, focused, and free of the muddy "floppiness" common in shorter 5-string basses.
• Rock-Solid Bolt-On Neck: The 3-piece maple neck features a fast Spector C-profile specified by the flagship custom shop. The robust bolt-on construction infuses your playing with a snappy, articulate transient attack and excellent note-separating capabilities.
• Fast, Intuitive Fingerboard: Capped with a warm rosewood fretboard featuring a comfortable 16” radius and 24 standard jumbo frets, navigating complex technical runs is effortless. The fingerboard is beautifully adorned with Spector’s instantly recognizable signature Crown inlays.
• Custom-Voiced Aguilar Electronics: Armed with high-performance dual Aguilar DCB humbuckers, the NS-5 captures every single sonic nuance with exceptional dynamic tracking. Driven by an active Aguilar OBP-2 preamp, players can intuitively sculpt their output via a layout of Volume, Blend, Treble Cut/Boost, and Bass Cut/Boost controls.
• The "Spector Sound" Brass Nut: A polished solid brass string nut enhances string vibration transfer, imbuing your overall resonance with the signature clarity, ring, and singing sustain that Spector is famous for.
• Professional Locking Gold Hardware: Features a fully intonating, locking die-cast bridge that anchors tightly to the body to maximize sustain and safeguard your exact action setup. High-precision sealed die-cast tuners finished in elegant gold keep your tuning rock solid under heavy, aggressive playing styles.
