G&L Will Ray Signature ASAT Z3 Semi-Hollow w/B-Bender Tribute Series

G & L Will Ray Signature ASAT Z3 Semi-Hollow Tribute Series. My understanding is that this model was discontinued in 2015. There are not many of these guitars on the online platforms. The Z3 pickup configuration on a Tribute guitar is usually associated with the Comanche so the combination of an ASAT with Z3 pickups and a factory-installed B-Bender is uncommon.

I don't know if this guitar is considered rare but it is certainly uncommon on the online resale platforms.

This guitar was professionally set up in July 2026 with adjustments to string height, intonation, pickup height, truss rod adjustment, inspect electronics etc. The guitar was given a clean bill of health. Set up with D'Addario EHR320 Super Light Gauge Half-Rounds, 9-42.

No Returns. Feel free to ask questions or request that additional photos be posted. This is a special guitar with the Z3 pickups and the B-Bender. It is priced significantly higher than most G & L Tribute ASATs. Some players may not appreciate the Z3 pickups or use the B-Bender and think it is not worth the higher price tag. For many players that is the correct conclusion. I think that G & L Tribute ASATs are very good guitars and perhaps G & L also came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth the higher price tag as this Model was discontinued in 2015. If you are buying your first G & L Tribute ASAT, you will probably be happy with a Classic, Deluxe or Special which will be priced several hundred dollars less than this guitar. This guitar is probably for someone that has played a lot of T-Style guitars (I bought my first Fender Telecaster new in 1965 for $210) and is looking for something a little different. Please make sure that this is the guitar that you want/need before placing an Order.

Condition. There are no scratches, dents, scuffs etc. that will affect the functionality of the guitar. The guitar is 10+ years old and there are minor scratches from taking the guitar in and out of the case. I have posted photos which I think are representative of the condition of the guitar.
