The 2007 Epiphone Dot Studio VS is a workhorse semi-hollow body guitar that combines timeless style with a simplified control layout, and this particular example is in great condition. Boasting a resonant mahogany construction and a beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish, this versatile instrument delivers the rich sustain and feedback resistance players need for everything from smooth jazz to gritty rock and roll.
The guitar has some damage, the neck was broken back in 2016 and was repair by a luthier [included in pictures]. Did not affect playability. The guitar still plays great and maintains tuning.
Body Construction: Semi-hollow design with a laminated maple top, back, and sides, plus a center block for sustain.
Neck Material: Maple (unique to the 2005–2007 production years before switching to mahogany in 2008).
Electronics: Dual open-coil Alnico Classic humbucker pickups.Controls: A simplified layout with just one master volume and one master tone knob, paired with a 3-way pickup selector.
