Seymour Duncan Nazgûl 7-String Bridge Humbucker - Black Metal Cover | No Limit Guitar Co, Idaho Falls

The Seymour Duncan Nazgûl is a passive, high-output humbucker built for players who want a genuinely brutal chug alongside real note articulation and saturation. A large ceramic magnet combined with custom winding specs gives this bridge pickup incredible harmonic content across every frequency range and an insanely tight bass response, making it a favorite for modern metal and extended-range players alike. This pickup is built for intermediate to professional 7-string guitarists who need serious high-gain performance without sacrificing clean-tone clarity.

Product Overview

Originally designed specifically for 7 and 8-string guitars, the Nazgûl was engineered to deliver the ideal modern metal pickup for low tunings on extended-range instruments under high gain. It has since become a favorite among 6, 7, and 8-string players spanning hard rock to progressive metal and everything in between. This version comes in the 7-string passive mount with a black metal humbucker cover, a classic look that easily fits any guitar with traditional pickup routing. On high gain settings, the Nazgûl delivers an aggressive, lively sound that stays completely controllable, while clean amp settings reveal clear, bell-like tones when players back off the gain. Hand built at Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Nazgûl uses a large ceramic bar magnet, a nickel silver bottom plate, and 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance even under heavy gain.
