This rare Teisco Del Ray EV-2T is a cool and unique vintage MIJ guitar. It is equipped with a pair of single coil pickups with independent on/off switches and a Rhythm/Solo tone switch, as well as a Bigsby style vibrato tailpiece. Please see our inspection notes below for a better understanding of the overall condition.

• The original string bar is missing, a replacement string tree has been installed.
• The bone nut is unoriginal.
• Action is a bit high (6/64" at the 12th fret). The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod works. The neck needs to be shimmed to lower the action. Unfortunately, the neck screws are firmly stuck in place. We didn't want to risk breaking or stripping a screw, so we are leaving it as-is. It still plays good in its current state. The frets had been leveled and are in great shape with no wear, though they are pretty low (around .030" tall).
• The electronics are all original. They all function, but the bridge pickup on/off switch is very intermittent, even with extensive cleaning. It will likely need to be replaced if more consistent and reliable operation is desired.
• The volume and tone knobs are unoriginal.
• Four of the pickguard screws are broken off and buried in the body. They would need to be drilled out. The pickguard is firmly in place with all the other screws currently installed.
• There are chips and dings throughout along with some finish cracking by the neck heel.
