These are players hats. Not cosmetically great, but very good sounding and good structural shape. All marks were there when I got them, probably about 20 years ago. There is an obvious liquid spill that has turned dark over time on the bottom. There is some greening in the grooves by the bell hole on the top. There are some real hammer marks that are factory, as they do not transfer to the other side, so they were lathed after the hammering. They have a louder than usual sound when worked with the foot.
