Yamaha YTS-23 Tenor Saxophone – Excellent Condition, Freshly Serviced, Perfectly In Tune, Ready to Play, Priced to Sell

This is a really nice Yamaha YTS-23 tenor in excellent condition and ready to go. Aside from a few normal cosmetic marks like scratches and scuffs, the horn is clean and has clearly been well taken care of. It has been professionally serviced, is perfectly in tune, and plays really well. The tone is warm and full with solid projection, and it just feels easy under the fingers. Intonation is solid across the range, the keys are properly regulated, the pads seal tightly with no leaks, and the springs feel quick and responsive.

The action is light and even with nothing soft or sluggish about it, and the response stays clean whether you’re playing soft or digging in. The registers feel balanced so nothing stands out as uneven. Low notes come out freely and the upper end stays focused without thinning out. When a horn is set up well like this one, it just cooperates and does what you ask without fighting you.

The YTS-23 is a classic Yamaha student tenor known for solid build quality, reliable intonation, and that familiar centered Yamaha sound that works well for school band and developing players. These horns hold up well over time and are a solid choice for someone who wants something ready to play without needing extra work.

Three brand new Vandoren reeds are included so you can start playing right away. The case is in excellent condition aside from a couple of zipper ends missing on one of the hardly used pockets, but it still operates as it should and protects the instrument properly. If you’re looking for a clean, ready-to-play tenor that’s already been serviced and sounds great, this one is a solid option. It’s priced to sell. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
