Benge 175F

For sale is a nice little Benge 175F, 817XXX serial. I can't find reliable information on manufacture year but it has the nice scroll engraving on the bell which I think makes it a later model. If you're unfamiliar with this model, it's specs are medium bore (.525) with an 8 inch bell, somewhat similar to a Bach 36B, a King 3B+, and (almost) a Conn 79H. I would characterize it as a 'brighter' sounding horn compared to the 36B or 79H. Lacquer is 98% intact. There are a couple of tiny dings on the bell that I can't capture well with my phone camera and lighting, but you have to get pretty close to see them (IMO). There is evidence of a repaired bell crease, but no other repairs that I can identify. Hand slide and valve are in excellent condition and all tuning slides move easily. Horn has been cleaned, including removing and cleaning the rotor and casing. A little polishing of the the tuning slide legs and inside of the outer slide. Ready to play out of the case...which is original and in great shape. This horn was acquired from an overseas seller who I believe obtained the signature of a professional Japanese trombonist on the case but I think that can be easily removed without damaging it.
