I only used this Portacapture X6 about 3 times for recording ASMR object sounds, so it has had very little use and is still in really nice condition. When I used it, I always had windscreens on the microphones, and I was very careful with all of my recording equipment and I purchased it last year.
It has always been kept indoors and stored safely when not in use. It has never been exposed to moisture, spills, smoke, or anything that could damage it.
The only reason I’m selling it is because I have a Portacapture X8 now, so I really don’t use the X6 anymore. There is nothing wrong with it at all. I just don’t have a reason to keep both recorders, and it has basically just been sitting safely stored away.
Overall, it is very clean, very lightly used, and close to new condition. If you’re looking for a Portacapture X6 that hasn’t been heavily used, this one has been very well taken care of.
