Very good condition pedal with original box and instructions.
Danelectro has never shied away from quirky, and this 2000s-era DSD-1 Shift Daddy has that character in spades. Designed to emulate the style and sound of vibrato made famous in the ’50s and ’60s, this all-analog pedal combines delay and pitch shifting with a variable blend control and directional control for the pitch section. The all-analog delay can be switched off or used alongside the pitch bend, giving players plenty of room to dial in anything from subtle movement to full-on wobble. Unlike a wah, the pitch bend is engaged with a top-mounted switch rather than a traditional stomp-style footswitch.
Whether you’re channeling Duane Eddy or chasing your own twangy, off-kilter shimmer, the Shift Daddy is a unique and highly functional piece of Danelectro weirdness.
