Exceptional 2015 PRS 30th Anniversary Custom 24 10-Top featuring one of the most striking flame maple necks I’ve seen on a Core PRS... essentially a matching "10-Neck"!

I like to call this one a “10-Neck.” That’s not an official PRS grade, but if PRS graded neck figuring the way they grade 10-Tops, this one certainly looks the part. The flame is deep, tight and remarkably consistent down virtually the entire length of the neck, continuing through the back of the headstock. Combined with the figured 10-Top and deep transparent Fire Red Burst finish, it’s a seriously beautiful guitar from every angle.

Built during PRS’s 30th Anniversary year, this Custom 24 also features the special anniversary bird inlay design, a 30th Anniversary truss rod cover, PRS 85/15 pickups and hybrid gold/nickel hardware.

Note: Every review I ever read from that time awarded the 30th Anniversary CU24 essentially a solid 5-star industry rating considering all aspects, especially playability and tone. (Online reviews are still available if you'd like to check them out.)

The original factory hangtag identifies the guitar as a Custom 24, serial #218123, with a Pattern Regular neck, 10-Top, and 85/15 Treble and Bass pickups, completed April 20, 2015. Includes the original PRS case and all the case candy.

Condition

Excellent overall condition. This guitar has been very well cared for and presents beautifully.

There is one small, shallow dimple/ding along the left-side edge of the body. It does not break through the finish or color and is primarily noticeable when viewed closely or when the light catches it. I’ve included a close-up photograph specifically showing it for full disclosure.

The gold hardware shows some minor age/use consistent with an approximately 11-year-old instrument. Otherwise, the guitar remains exceptionally clean. Please examine all photos closely, as they are part of the description.

A Standout Example

The neck is what really separates this particular guitar from the pack.

A PRS 10-Top is desirable on its own, but this guitar pairs that top with an unusually dramatic factory flame maple neck whose figuring remains strong from the heel all the way through the headstock. It's basically as though the 10-Top front was simply continued on the back of the neck. Add in the 30th Anniversary appointments, 85/15 pickups, hybrid hardware and complete original case/paperwork package, and this is an especially striking example of the 30th Anniversary Custom 24.

If PRS made a “10-Neck” designation, this is the neck I’d expect to see wearing it.
