Vintage 1996 Russian-made Oktava MK-219 large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone with its original factory passport/manual and integrated stand mount.

This is an especially nice example for anyone looking for an original-era MK-219 rather than a later microphone with no provenance. The microphone itself is clearly marked “1996г”, and the original Russian-language factory documentation is also dated 1996 and includes the original inspection/acceptance information.

The MK-219 has developed a following for its distinctive vintage Russian character — a warm, full-bodied condenser sound that works particularly well on vocals, acoustic instruments, guitar cabinets, room/ambient recording and other sources where a microphone with some personality is preferred over an overly clinical sound.
