Rare opportunity. Vintage Neumann KM56 pair with close serial numbers, 263 & 501.
The Neumann KM56 is considered the gold standard acoustic guitar microphone. It uses two nickel capsule mounted together and the famous Telefunken AC701K tube. These microphones are perfect. They have been fully tested: they work perfectly in all three polar patterns. They sound great and very quiet. The electronics are very original, including the tubes. The capsules have been reskinned by Thiersch in Germany 10 years ago. Thiersch is the only tech who knows how to do nickel reskins right. The body parts are in great shape.
The microphone comes with the original Neumann jewelry cases, modern Schaal regulated power supply with Sommer cabling, both made in Germany, original EA 21 shock mounts , and a waterproof case. This set is ready to be used in studio.
