FENDER "Pugilist V2 Distortion"

The Pugilist V2 is a distortion pedal like no other, featuring two independent distortion circuits housed in a single chassis to deliver a vast array of powerful, full-bodied tones. Each distortion circuit can be engaged independently via its dedicated footswitch and tweaked using its own Gain, Tone, and Level controls. This yields two distinct distortion voices: Engine A offers treble-rich drive tones ideal for solos, while Engine B provides a thicker, punchier distortion. The true magic of the Pugilist V2 lies in the Path switch, which routes the two distortion circuits through three different signal paths, driving them into one another for harmonically rich saturation. The two Series modes feed one circuit into the other to stack drive tones—much like layering amplifier channels—allowing you to use the footswitches to kick in a cascaded level of distortion. Parallel mode offers deep tone-shaping capabilities by running both circuits side-by-side, letting you blend and balance them via the Level controls to achieve the perfect mix of definition and power. With global Mid Cut and Bass Boost switches, selectable buffered or true bypass modes, and footswitching compatible with external controllers for momentary or latching operation, this dual-circuit distortion pedal delivers massive tones and modern features ready for any pedalboard.
