Roland GC-405 Tube Logic 2-Channel Mini Stack (Combo + Extension Cabinet)

Selling a Roland GC-405 guitar amplifier stack, consisting of the main GC-405 20-watt combo amplifier unit and the matching auxiliary extension speaker cabinet. Manufactured between 1996 and 2000, this unique "mini stack" configuration leverages Roland's analog "Tube Logic Technology" to emulate the natural breakup and compressed distortion profile of a traditional valve amplifier.

Condition & Specifications:

• Overall Condition: Very Good. The textured black Tolex covering, front grille cloth weaves, chrome corner protectors, and inlaid silver Roland faceplates are intact and structurally sound. One small ding on the bottom edge of the main amp as pictured, and minor fading to the black colour of the amp.
• Speaker Configuration: Contains a total of eight 12 cm (5-inch) custom-developed speakers. The combo housing contains four internal speakers, and the bottom extension cabinet houses an additional matching set of four speakers.
• Power Output: 20 Watts (8 Ohms) base output as a standalone combo, scaling up dynamically under load when the external cabinet is connected.
• Controls: Channel select toggle switch, Clean Channel Volume, Lead Channel Pre-Volume, Post-Volume, Universal 3-band Equalizer (Bass, Middle, Treble), and Master Presence.
• Rear IO Panel Connectors: Input jack, Footswitch jack (channel selection), FX Loop Send (Pre Out), FX Loop Return (Main In), Extension Speaker Output jack, and a dedicated Headphones jack. Note that the foot pedal in not included.

Performance & Tone:
The stack operates fully as intended, with clean sweeps across all mechanical potentiometers and zero structural rattles from the cabinet structures. The solid-state Tube Logic circuitry functions reliably, allowing the clean channel to break up into a light crunch. The dedicated high-gain Lead channel outputs an aggressive, sustained rock tone.

Due to the closed-back cabinet architecture and the acoustic air dispersion of the eight grouped 5-inch drivers, the stack produces a punchy, deep bass response that sounds significantly larger than its compact physical footprint implies.

Includes the essential speaker linkage cable (new) connecting the head unit to the lower enclosure. Please see photos for exact cosmetic details.
