This guitar weighs 8.4 pounds and is a Guitar Center exclusive limited edition Gibson Les Paul Standard "Blood Moon" with a grey stained flame maple neck that makes this guitar truly unique in the Gibson family of guitars. The figuring on the maple top of this particular example is thick and throughout. I added dunlop straplocks to this guitar. I do not have any of the original black hardware or plastics. They were replaced with directly swappable Gibson branded gold hardware. The electronics on this guitar were modified from the original push/pull pots to 50s style pots/wiring with orange drop capacitors to play and sound like a traditional Les Paul. The aluminum hardshell case that is included has stickers on the outside from the previous owner. I could remove the stickers but if anyone likes the stickers I figured leave them on. Taking them off should be very easy though for anyone who doesnt want the stickers on the case. One of the latches on the case isnt working but the other two latches get the job done completely in the time being as far as my experience with it taking it back and forth to guitar lessons weekly.

The entire guitar features a satin finish that has that non-sticky feel and look. The guitar is spec'd to have a quilted top but from every angle that I see this exact example appears to be a thick AAA flame top. The guitar is players grade with minor cosmetic marks like swirling and bare wood showing on the playing edge of the body and in between the volume/tone controls. It plays perfectly and has a semi reliced look of the case and guitar. This guitar is special.
