Fender American Series Stratocaster HH

For your consideration is this 2004 Fender American Series Stratocaster Hardtail HH electric guitar in very good condition with OHSC. Completely gone over and given a clean bill of health. All switches and jacks were cleaned and work without any scratchiness. Set up included action adjustment, truss rod adjusted, fingerboard oiled, frets polished, intonation set. Guitar plays great and sounds fantastic!

This Chrome Red Strat takes a classic Fender tone wood platform and outfits it with a pair of high output modern Fender humbuckers. A Sidewinder in the neck position and a Black Cobra in the bridge. Traditional five-way pickup selector switch is augmented by Fender's S1 system, which offers an additional five pickup options. The S1 switch is discreetly located on the Volume knob cap, and engaging the S1 opens up three coil tapped pickup options, along with series/parallel options for the humbuckers.

The satin-finished maple neck features a medium C shape measuring .840” deep at the 1st fret and .900” at the 12th. The thick slab rosewood fretboard features dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets which show only moderate wear with plenty of life left. The nut measures 1 11/16" in width, and the small '50s-style Fender headstock features Sperzel made locking tuners that hold pitch reliably and turn smoothly. The chrome neck plate is embossed with Fender's 50th Anniversary Stratocaster design and also offers micro-tilt adjustment.

On the body, all of the electronics work as they should with a five-way blade selector, two Tone knobs, and a Volume knob with S-1 switching governing the two humbuckers. The chrome hardware and plastic parts are clean as can be, and the gloss Chrome Red finish shines like new. There are a few very small nicks in the clear coat shown in pics # 8&9 and one paint chip in the neck pocket (see pic 4). The back of the neck is in excellent condition with only one very faint impression. The original Fender USA molded hardshell case is also in very good condition with no issues.
