The Nero is a wonderful pedal with a very versatile tonal palette, being able to cover anything from smooth Dumble-esque overdrives to screaming modern fuzz sounds. Dual independent bias controls and two distinct drive voicings make this a very useful pedal with a wide range of usable sounds. Tested by us in store, this pedal works great and sounds even better. Imagine a gadget that harks back to classic, vintage sounds yet embraces ingenuity and forward-thinking design. That’s the Nero Fuzz. Equipped with two independent bias controls, you can effortless transition between tones with the click of a footswitch.

The NERO includes a “Comp” knob that manages compression by blending the sound from the Fuzz section with the Gladio SC section in parallel, thereby adjusting overall compression.

Nero combines a rich Fuzz section with a full Gladio SC circuit, giving you stacked tones without needing additional pedals. Acting like a preamp, it delivers a rounded, controlled final tone-even when your amp already has some dirt-making complex layering effortless and musical.

Forget the usual placement restrictions of fuzz pedals. With a 1 MΩ input impedance, Nero can sit anywhere on your pedalboard (first in the chain or later) without compromising tone.

Nero features two independent bias controls, letting you switch between distinct voices instantly with the dedicated footswitch. Voice 1 delivers gritty, aggressive tones that open up into gated textures as you roll back your guitar’s volume. Voice 2 brings a full-bodied overdrive that cleans up beautifully when the guitar volume is lowered-perfect for dynamic playing and expressive control.

The Comp knob manages the interaction between the Fuzz and the Gladio SC sections. Think of it as a parallel mix: it controls how much of the fuzz signal feeds into the SC, shaping the overall compression and giving you full control over your tone’s dynamics, always tight, always expressive.
