2017 Fender Standard Stratocaster FSR Limited Edition Sea Foam Green MIM

2017 Fender Limited Edition Standard Stratocaster — Sea Foam Green

A really cool and increasingly hard-to-find Fender FSR from 2017. This Limited Edition Standard Stratocaster was a special-run model produced for Guitar Center, finished in the gorgeous Sea Foam Green that gives this Strat a distinctly vintage-inspired look.

This is one of those Fender models that looks familiar at first glance but is considerably more interesting than a standard production Strat. The combination of the Sea Foam Green finish, maple neck, classic Stratocaster body shape, and three single-coil pickup configuration gives it a great mix of vintage Fender character and straightforward playability.

The Sea Foam Green finish is the real star here — a beautiful, understated Fender color that looks fantastic in person and photographs particularly well. The maple fingerboard complements it perfectly.

This is a great example of the kind of special-run Fender that doesn't necessarily get the attention it deserves when it was new, but becomes much more interesting once the run is long discontinued. The Sea Foam Green finish is particularly desirable, and these 2017 FSR examples aren't something you see every day.

Condition

The guitar presents very nicely overall. Please study all of the photos carefully as they are part of the description and show the actual instrument you will receive.

There is some normal cosmetic wear consistent with a used instrument, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance or character of this Strat. The finish, maple neck, hardware and electronics all have the look you'd expect from a well-loved Fender.

Please feel free to message me with any questions or if you'd like additional photos.

A very cool 2017 limited-edition Fender Stratocaster in a fantastic color, and a great opportunity to pick up one of Fender's less-common FSR models.
