Here we have something quite rare, the early 4 knob King of Tone V2! This is the one that really made the King of Tone so popular. These were only made for a couple of years before the switch to the more common V4, but these have the "mojo." This one was built by Analog Mike himself, signed and dated to October of 2004 (hard to read, but I think its '04, these were only made until '05) Even more rare is that this one has the original box with matching serial, pedal bag and even the original instructions! A real collectors item. There is evidence of use, some small paint chips here and there, a small amount of velcro residue on the bottom, but the stamps have barely faded, a rarity for this era, and it functions flawlessly. Even better this has the now unobtanium, single yellow line Panasonic MA856 diodes, the true core of the King of Tone. As well as the original Toshiba 1S1588 clipping diodes. Mike has not had these available for many years now. Modern issues sound good, but don't feel quite the same.

This thing rips, the best dynamic response of any pedal I have ever owned. I have had a couple V4 KoT's, and this one beat them every time. I'm only selling because I am diving more into vintage fuzz pedals now, and have not used it as much lately. A rare opportunity to get such a historic pedal with original box, papers and bag. Thanks for looking!
