Open box, unused. Complete with the BH2 microphone, standard shockmount, thumb screw, and warranty sheet. The distinctive scooped Black Hole body is flawless — no scratches, dings, or handling marks, grille clean. Mic has never been tracked with; no cosmetic or functional wear. No original receipt, so listed as Used rather than New.

he JZ Black Hole BH2 is the mic engineers keep comparing to a U67 and then keeping instead. It's a 1-inch cardioid condenser built around JZ's Golden Drop capsule, where the diaphragm is made lighter so it moves faster, which is the technical reason the BH2 sounds so transparent and quick without ever turning harsh. Run it on vocals and you get clarity with real low-end body; put it on acoustic guitar, strings, or a grand piano and it just disappears into an accurate, present picture of the source. It's a Class A discrete design with genuinely low self-noise, handcrafted in Latvia, and it's earned praise from Grammy-winning engineers and a Sound On Sound writeup for exactly that balance of warmth and detail.

You'll recognize it instantly by the scooped "black hole" body, which isn't just styling: it's a distinctive-looking mic that also happens to be a serious workhorse. This unit is open box and unused, complete with the standard shockmount, thumb screw, and warranty sheet. The body is flawless. I don't have the original receipt, so it's listed as Used, but it has never been tracked with. One honest note on a mic at this price: JZ's warranty is tied to proof of purchase, and without the receipt I can't guarantee the factory warranty transfers to you, so treat it as sold as-is on warranty. The microphone itself is new-unused and fully functional.
