Zildjian 18" Trans stamp type 3 with a highly brilliant or reflective finish on the top, less so on the reverse. Weight is a thin 1308 gm. Slightly over-sized at an average of 18-3/16" (range of 18-1/8 to 18-1/4). If you ratio down to an exact 18.0", the effective weight is 1275 gm. 2 rivet holes installed but empty. Very clean overall with a nice 7/16" bell hole, smooth edges, no cracks or dents. Just the lightest of warping as nearly all larger trans stamps show.

The reflectivity on the top side is deep where you can see yourself 6-10 ft or more into the cymbal's central bow. It's not from cleaning or post factory polishing. I believe these finishes were the result of how the lathing was done. Of course that brilliant finish also gives you an overall higher frequency range, so a more sparkling, dazzling, cutting and brighter cymbal than the weight would suggest. Strong bow tension too though still flexible. Has a strong wash once you get into it. A great sounding cymbal imo though not for everyone, especially those who prefer their trans stamps more subdued and laid back.

I think this cymbal would be quite at home in a big band setting, maybe even bluesy rock. Despite the low weight an effective crash/ride cymbal with a chime-like attack, yet also dry and dark as most trans stamps are. I've owned about 15 trans stamp 18's, this is by far the most reflective with a bright bold look and feel. I also have a brilliant 20" thin (1811 g) trans stamp type 4 not yet listed in this same "texture" if you were interested in the pair please message me.

I will be listing more trans stamps in the coming days/weeks.
