The Luke II was developed in close collaboration with Steve Lukather, lead guitarist of the American rock band Toto, and is considered a milestone in the history of Music Man signature models. It combines the highest level of craftsmanship with practical features and an unmistakable sound.

The lightweight alder body delivers balanced mids and a clear response, while the impressively figured bird’s-eye maple neck—featuring a bolt-on construction and a hand-waxed and oiled finish—ensures an incredibly smooth playing experience. The rosewood fingerboard with 22 low-profile wide frets offers excellent playability across the entire fingerboard, and even reaching the highest registers is effortless thanks to the smooth neck-to-body transition (Sculpted Neck Joint).

Sonically, the guitar delivers the full spectrum of sounds—from crystal-clear clean tones to funky mid-range tones and powerful high-gain riffs—thanks to the combination of two EMG SLV single-coils and an EMG 85 humbucker. The active electronics ensure maximum dynamics and transparency with incredible sustain.

This guitar is in excellent condition and is technically flawless. Visually, there is only occasional fine superficial wear (see photos). The frets are in top condition.
