1956 Martin 00-18

Some nicks and such from regular love and playing over the last 70 years; and over those years of playing the B Rosewood back and sides, along with the Spruce top, mahogany neck; original open headed tuners that hold a tune better than most modern instruments do today. Other than normal nicks and scrapes from the love this instrument has been given oven the years, this ’56 Martin 00-18 is an unbelievably great sounding acoustic guitar, and sustains longer than I can make myself continue listening but over the 70 + years of love and playing that this instrument has received- the woods, particularly the intonation of the back and sides provide this beautiful, vintage instrument with a sound and tonal quality that makes this instrument perfect for anyone looking for true vintage sound, in a compact form that has volume and sustain that last longer than most others I’ve compared it against. The serial number puts this guitar being built in the early months (sometime between March and June) of 1956.
