1965 Epiphone Coronet – Gibson Era – Kalamazoo, Michigan – One Owner – Original Case

**Please message me if you want more pictures or have any questions!**

**The guitar is very shiny so it is hard to take photos without any reflections or glare.**

Offered for sale is a vintage 1965 Epiphone Coronet electric guitar, built during the Gibson era at the legendary Kalamazoo, Michigan factory. Featuring its classic cherry finish, single P-90 pickup, and original hard case, this is a wonderful example of one of Epiphone's most desirable solid-body models.

What makes this guitar especially unique is its history. My father purchased it new in 1965, and he remained its only owner for nearly 60 years. After his passing, I am offering this family-owned instrument to someone who will appreciate both its musical heritage and its story.

Features

  • 1965 Epiphone Coronet
  • Gibson-era, Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA
  • Cherry finish
  • Solid-body electric guitar
  • Single P-90 pickup
  • Original vintage hard case included
  • Guitar cable included
  • One-owner family guitar purchased new in 1965

Condition

This guitar is in vintage condition with normal wear expected from nearly 60 years of careful ownership. It shows honest finish wear, light scratches, dings, and age-related patina that reflect its history without taking away from its vintage character.

To the best of my knowledge:

  • The finish appears to be original.
  • I am not aware of any breaks or structural repairs.
  • The guitar has remained in my family since it was purchased new.

Please Note: One pickup mounting screw is currently not installed because it no longer threads into the pickup correctly. The original screw is included with the guitar. Please review the close-up photos for details.

The original hard case is included and shows typical cosmetic wear from age and storage while continuing to protect the guitar well.

Please Review Photos

The photographs are an important part of the description and show the overall condition of the guitar, finish, hardware, case, and included accessories. Please examine them carefully before purchasing.

This is an excellent opportunity to own a genuine Gibson-era Epiphone Coronet with documented one-owner family history—something that becomes increasingly difficult to find.

Please feel free to message me with any questions or if you'd like additional photos.

Thank you for looking!
