(AK 961-3) As a lover of Signature & LTD models... Here's a 2007 Fender Artist Series Joe Strummer Signature Telecaster, built in 2007 in Ensenada, Mexico (Made in Mexico / MIM), an exact replica of Strummer's legendary 1966 Telecaster. The model features an extreme, factory-applied "Custom Road Worn" relic finish that faithfully replicates the three layers of paint on the original (sunburst, gray primer, and black topcoat). The finish on the edges/sides is, as is typical, only glued and, unfortunately, is peeling in a few places, also as is typical! Body Material: Alder Body Shape: Classic Telecaster Color/Finish: Custom Road Worn Black Relic (Satin Polyurethane) Special Feature: Engraved neck plate with the inscription "Revolution Rock" Neck Material: Maple Neck Profile: 60s-style "C" Shape Fingerboard: Rosewood Fingerboard Radius: Vintage 7.25" (184 mm) Frets: 21 Vintage-Style Frets Nut: Bone Width: 1.650" (42 mm) Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm) Electronics & Hardware: Bridge Pickup: Vintage-Style Single-Coil Telecaster with Alnico Magnets Neck Pickup: Vintage-Style Single-Coil Telecaster with Alnico Magnets Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone Switches: 3-Way Reed Switch (Pickup selector switch) Bridge: Vintage-style ashtray bridge with 3 brass saddles (strings-through-body) Tuning machines: Fender vintage-style (Kluson-style) Hardware finish: Distressed chrome Weight: 3.450 kg The guitar comes in the original black tolex Fender case, unfortunately without accessories.
