The Walrus Audio EB-10 Preamp/EQ/Boost is a multi-functional tone-shaping tool designed to act as an always-on preamplifier, a precision equalizer, and a powerful clean boost. Coated in a rugged Matte Black finish featuring artwork inspired by vintage studio outboard gear, it allows you to sculpt your instrument's core character or balance levels seamlessly when swapping between guitars.

Precision Frequency Sculpting

• Three-Band Rotary EQ: Features specialized multi-position rotary switches for Low, Mid, and High frequencies. Each knob provides 9 distinct positions offering up to 12dB of precision boost or cut.
• Boost/Cut Toggles: Located directly below each rotary knob, individual toggle switches dictate whether you are cutting (down) or boosting (up) that specific frequency band.
• Internal Trim Pots: Tucked inside the die-cast enclosure are adjustable trim pots to customize the mid-range behavior. You can alter both the center frequency (factory set at a golden 800 Hz) and the "Q" bandwidth to shift between a broad or surgical sweep.

Independent MOSFET Boost

• +10dB Switch: An independent, illuminated tactile switch engages a premium internal MOSFET boost circuit. This adds 10dB of punchy, clean volume to drive your amplifier's preamp stage or push your distortion pedals further into saturation.

Dual Operating Modes

• Live Mode: The pedal acts as a traditional stompbox. The bypass switch turns the effect on or off, and the tone responds dynamically to the exact physical placement of the knobs and toggles.
• Preset Mode: By holding the bypass switch for 3 seconds, the pedal locks "on" and transforms the footswitch into a preset cycler. You can save and recall up to 3 distinct user presets (P1, P2, P3). This allows you to create individual gain stages or quickly match the outputs of three completely different guitars mid-set.

System Specs

• Power & Footprint: Draws a minimum of 100mA via standard 9V DC center-negative power. It features a true-bypass soft-relay switch.
