The Tiny Mutant is a modified version of the Mutron Micro V envelope filter (auto-wah). Attack and Decay controls have been added to the original circuit which enhance the sensitivity of the filter, so that it can be better tailored to meet the varying needs of guitar, bass, keyboards and other instruments.
It’s a delightful funk machine with a lovely synth-like decay on sustained notes, and is a joy to experiment with at home, on stage, or in the studio.
