This is a 1988 Martin D35.

There is repair work along the entire length of the binding on both the front and back of the body, and the narrowed gaps have been filled. Aside from that, there are some small scratches and dents, but nothing particularly noticeable, and there are no visible cracks in the wood or signs of previous repairs. There are no signs that strap pins or pickups have ever been installed. The condition of the frets is also fine.

This is a model from the era before adjustable truss rods were standard, and the saddle has been lowered nearly to its limit. String action at the 12th fret is 2.7 mm on the 6th string and 2.2 mm on the 1st string.

It produces a solid bass response while maintaining the soft, reverberant sound characteristic of the D35.

It comes with the original hard case.

Top Solid Sitka Spruce
Side & Back Solid Indian Rosewood
Neck Mahogany
Neck Width At Nut 42mm
Scale Length 645mm
