Moog Announces Subsequent 37 CV Monosynth Ahead of Moogfest

The day before Moogfest kicks off in Durham, North Carolina, Moog has announced a update to its Sub 37 monosynth.

Dubbed the Subsequent 37 CV, the incremental upgrade sees the addition six 3.5mm outs — four CV and two gate — for integration with Eurorack modular systems and a gorgeous new look featuring aluminum side panels with wood inlays.

The Subsequent also sees an updated mixer design, lending more headroom in duo mode when the two oscillators can be played independently. Like the Sub 37, the Subsequent is heavier on the knobs than any of the other synths in the Phatty line.

Production of these synths is limited to 2,000 units, with the first batch available through Guitar Center at Moogfest this coming weekend. 125 will be built on–site there. The suggested retail price of the Subsequent 37 CV is $1,799. Head to Moog's website for the full announcement.
