1983 Gibson Challenger II Electric Guitar With Upgrades And Case #345

To start off, this guitar plays really well. It has very low action, and it’s very pleasant to play. It’s a 1983 Gibson Challenger II. Everything upgraded wise was done by the previous owner who passed away and now I’m the owner of the guitar. I’ve taken as many pictures as I can to show the condition of the guitar and the upgrades. The pickups are vintage Fender 1950s Stringmaster D8/T8 pickups, and I believe the pots and wiring harness are all replaced with an upgraded or vintage setup as well. Also, the tuners are Schaller upgraded machine heads ($137.5 value). The pickguard is a custom pickguard that was made by the previous owner and it looks fine/does the job. The electronics sound really good and this guitar plays very smooth up and down the fingerboard. This guitar has very small signs of fret use and every note plays perfectly. This guitar has some small scratches, some small indentions, and some finish checking shown in the pictures, but it’s in very good condition for its age. The finish checking is really hard to see but it doesn’t affect anything. All of these things are just cosmetic, hardly noticeable, and they don’t affect how it plays. Along with this deal is a hard case which has small signs of wear but works good as it should. These guitars are hard to find and especially one that plays this good! Overall this guitar plays really well and sounds really good! This guitar weighs 7lbs 8oz.
