Before any of you purist go crazy on me. Let me say that when I find a guitar that needs putting back together. I do what it takes with the tools I have to make them playable. This one came to me with half the heel missing.A fret board that was down to 3/32" with the fret extension missing. The good thing it had going for it was the Brazilian rosewood body and spruce top were intact .Only one crack on back near center strip. So I hand carved a new heel piece and made the tennon joint Bolton on and glued. I replaced the fretboard with a more modern scale of 25 7/16" . In doing so made it so the bridge had to be relocated so a hand made oversized bridge was made and installed. The result is a sweet sounding resonate parlor guitar with big sound and sustain. The action is.090 at the twelfth fret. Intonation is close not right on but I think there is room to compensate. It has original bone button tuners. One gear has been replaced. It has .010 - .045 on it now. I was going to keep this one for myself but have other projects to finish . Please ask any questions you may have.
