Please note: while this module has been discontinued, I'm making a couple of units available
everything works except for the CV input for channel switching. There is a plug where the CV input would have been, item priced at a discount savings. If you're curious about the details read on.... Best I could suss out the microcontroller user-programmable flash memory was corrupted during production - this memory allocation serves the programmable CV channel break-points in switcher mode.
Since this design is discontinued, I have not investigated more by writing code to test the flash memory. This memory area does not affect the instruction set, so manual channel switching and the channel mute functions all still work very well. Of course all other aspects of the mixer/switcher were tested and functioning very well. If you have any questions about this let me know.
In SWITCHER mode
Infusor-X lets you jump between your effects
modules on the fly – in timing w/ your groove. Plug in a signal on
channel 1. And get back7 (active) buffered multiples of that signal.
Now send those signals to 7 of your favorite effects. And patch your 7
effects returns into channels 2-8. Use the
Channel Select
buttons to switch between the dry channel 1, and the 7 effects return
channels. Whatever channel you select, it will go to the output
one-at-a-time.
In MIXER mode, the Infusor-X becomes a straightforward 10-Channel Audio Sub-Mixer with muting on channels 1-8.
Both modes feature:
8 level sliders (-inf to +3dB gain), 8 mute /channel select buttons, 8
pan pots. A pair of auxiliary L/R inputs on channels 9/10. Just for
your favorite synth or drum machine. And a stereo output.
Infusor-X is destined to groove you.
Please note: Infusor-X uses a 16-pin power header + requires 5V from your Eurorack power supply.
A 15cm16-to-16 pin ribbon cable is included. Each module is crafted by
hand in limited quantities, and tested for quality assurance.
