Made locally in Oklahoma City. The 2xVCA r3 is two independent, fully analog DC-coupled amplifier circuits employing reclaimed BA662F chips. Version 3 is has the same great sound and functions as previous versions: jacks for input, output, and incoming bi-polar CV signal + an LED signal indicator.
CV ATTENUATION KNOB | Determines the amount of CV (control voltage) will affect the loudness.
BIAS KNOB | At 12 o’clock is silence. Turn CW it will behave like a volume knob. If the CV input is an LFO, the result can be tremolo. If the CV is an inverted (negative-going) envelope, the signal can be ducked. Similarly, turning the bias CCW will clip the lower portion of the CV signal. If your CV is a positive envelope, the lower half of the envelope can be cut off.
LINEAR SWITCH SETTING | good for longer sustained sounds
EXPONENTIAL SWITCH SETTING | good for short, plucky percussion type sounds.
Every module is hand-assembled and ready to rock your world. Be sure to check out my other cool modules available in my Reverb store.
INCLUDED | 16-pin-to-10-pin power connector cable.
NOT INCLUDED | M2.5 or M3 (Doepfer standard) Phillips-head basic zinc rack screws are only provided on special request. Why do I do this? To cut down on rack screws that are wasted in the universe. What's it gotta be? Thousands? Hundreds of thousands? Unused, unwanted. You know the ones I mean | wrong size, wrong color, cheap junk tin, top slot-stripping, rack-rashers, wrong thread count, wrong length, wrong political party, etc. I use thumb screws in 2 sizes myself. So yeah, if you request some M3's from me, I will probably pull the ones from other companies boxes in my closet. You're welcome :D
