Seller Fees

Transaction Fee

As a seller, Reverb charges you 3.5% of the total sale amount (including shipping) after your item has sold.

The minimum USD fee is $0.50 and the maximum USD fee is $350. For example, if you sell a $15,000 guitar, we limit your transaction fee to only $350. For info on fees in other currencies, see the Reverb Billing Policy.

Reverb Payments

Reverb offers a convenient built-in payment method called Reverb Payments. The seller fee for Reverb Payments payment processing is $0.25 plus 2.7% of transaction total. For Reverb Preferred Sellers, the fee is $0.25 plus 2.5% of transaction total.

Sellers incur a 1% cross-border fee on all international transactions.

When you accept payments via PayPal, a fee may be deducted from the total amount transferred to your PayPal account. For most sellers this fee is $0.30 plus 2.9%.

Note: This is a fee that PayPal charges for its payment service separate from your Reverb fees.

When am I charged?

Reverb Selling Fee

Reverb seller fees are automatically deducted from the payout of your item when it is sold via Reverb Payments. For PayPal-only sellers, your billing card on file will be charged on the first of each month.

Payment Processing Fee

Reverb Payments and Paypal’s processing fees will be taken out at the time the buyer purchases the item.

If you choose to list your items in a different currency than your banking currency, a 2.5% currency conversion fee will be deducted from your Reverb Payments payout.
