The iZotope Neutron at work
iZotope Neutron gives engineers total creative control over their mixes with unprecedented particularity. In this demo, Matt Murray from iZotope demonstrates how Neutron allows you to edit each individual track using 500+ presets organized by instrument, how to identify and fix perceptual frequency collisions that arise when two tracks fight with one another, and how Neutron's built-in Track Assistant automatically detects which instrument is used on which track. Track Assistant sets up your channel strip for you, setting your EQ, attack and release times, and threshold.
iZotope also offers a Neutron sample plugin called Neutrino. Neutrino perceptibly listens to each track, analyzes it, and makes subtle adjustments for better balance. Because of its low CPU usage, you're able to use Neutrino on each of your tracks to guarantee consistency across your project.
