The Burning Sunn is a preamp/distortion pedal inspired by the first generation model of Sunn's legendary Model T amplifier. Ground FX's Burning Sunn is an almost exact replication of the Model T's highly regarded preamp section. The main difference is that the Model T's preamp tubes were traded for hand-selected JFET transistors in the Burning Sunn's pedalboard-friendly circuit.
In addition to the standard, three-band EQ and master volume, the Burning Sunn also features two separate channels (bright and normal) that can be blended together for ultimate, fine-tuned distortion—something that players of heavier music are sure to appreciate.
